In accordance with the project activities schedule (see Gantt chart in the project application) in 2014 we have worked in the four work packages

-
WP2:Measurement of the intra-vehicle signal propagation for WLAN, sensor network and positioning applications (planned for the period from Apr 2013 to Dec 2015)
-
WP3:Analysis and modeling of Millimeter Wave (MMW) and Ultra Wide-Band (UWB) signal propagation for WPAN and sensor network application, verification and improvement of the existing channel models (planned for the period from Jan 2013 to Dec 2015)
-
WP4:Analysis and modeling of MMW and UWB signal propagation within a vehicle for localization purposes (planned for the period from Jul 2013 to Dec 2015)
-
WP5:Analysis and modeling of the Infra-Red (IR) propagation within the vehicle for WPAN application (planned for the period from Jan 2014 to Jun 2016)e
As for WP2: During 2013, we created all measurement setups for channel measurement in both the time and frequency domain. In 2014, we then carried out a few measurement campaigns. Following the gained experience we have continuously improved some setups. Note that the most of the key instruments (Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) Rohde&Schwarz ZVA67, VNA Agilent Technologies E5071C ENA, 20GHz Digital & Mixed Signal Oscilloscope Tektronix DPO 72004C and BER tester Anritsu MP1800A) used for measurements were available thanks to support the Research Centre of Sensor, Information and Communication Systems.
