The antenna was designed using electromagnetic simulator CST Microwave Studio. The measured parameters of the conical monopole antenna are summarized in <a href=\"#fig2\">Figure 2<\/a> and <a href=\"#fig3\">Figure 3<\/a>. The antenna has omnidirectional H-plane radiation pattern which is mostly invariant within the desired frequency band. The antenna is suitable for measuring in time domain thanks to a low influence on the excitation pulse.
