Wire dipole

The dipole is a direct segment of a conductor, which is interrupted by a feeding gap in the center. If a symmetric source of the harmonic voltage is connected to the gap, then in the first half-period, a current flows to one arm, and charges of the current concentrate at the end of the arm. In the second half-period, accumulated charges flow back to the source. In the second arm, the situation is similar (in the first half-period, accumulated charges flow back to the source, in the second half-period, the charges accumulate).

Dealing with the wire dipole, a circular profile and a small radius (with respect to the wavelength) of the antenna wire are assumed.
