The IP performance test system Ixia Optixia XM2 (mainly IxLoad, IxExplorer, Test Conductor tools) is solution for the high-performance testing of whole network or various networked applications from Layer 2 through 7 (L4-L7: 8 ports controlled by PowerPC processor, L2-L3: 4 ports controlled by FPGA with network interfaces 1000BASE-T). This system can be used to emulation wide area of server and client applications (VoIP applications, video streaming, etc.). The whole system is managed from built-in PC or from remote site.
