Network security components

The network security laboratory is equipped by powerful security devices suitable for the security of large data networks as well as for detailed analysis of existing fixed and wireless networks. The equipment includes mainly advanced firewalls ASA 5505 and ASA 5510, a system for detection of network attacks IPS 4240 or comprehensive system for network monitoring and analysing – MARS 25R. The laboratory is designed to develop and evaluate new security mechanisms as well as to verify the correct operation of security policies used by different actors.
