MMW measurement in Frequency domain with LNA

M6. The same MMW measurement in frequency domain as in M5 but with the Quinstar low noise preamplifier QLW-50754530-I2 (purchased from grant funds) and with application of the extended calibration technique using MMW attenuator in order to get larger SNR (September and October 2014).

The similar measurement campaign was performed as the measurements of MMW in-vehicle channel using spatial grid in frequency domain performed on 11 Aug 2014. The dynamic range of the measurement setup was increased using an MMW low noise amplifier connected to the RX antenna. The measurement setup was calibrated for zero transmission while the open-ended waveguide antennas were connected to each other using an MMW attenuator. The measured data including this added attenuation had to be additionally corrected.
